So Sassy!

I today have compensated for my hideous attire over the past few days. Go me.

Fabulous denim blazer that I got from Ann Taylor. Just went to their site to find a picture of the blazer, and it's already gone!

Wait! Just checked sale... there are still a few left! This jacket is worth $100. I have bought so many darn denim jackets and blazers, none being quite right. This one RAWKS because it's lightweight enough to no make me look like a fullback, it has an eensy bit of stretch, is dark denim but has a nice premium look so not too boring. It's petite! It FITS!

So under the fabu blazer is an orange-red silk tank from Banana Republic. I have a pleated drop waist shantung skirt to match that I wore to a wedding this summer. No, I did not wear the skirt today.

Instead I wore my one purchase from the Isaac Mizrahi collection at Target. I love the concept, but I find these clothes to be cheaply made, cheap fabrics, poor fitting. This one skirt I adored and luckily it fit. Those who are Target Obsessed may remember this skirt from last fall. Ivory and black zebra-print courdoroy pencil skirt. It fits like a dream and is a good transitional piece for this Fall month that feels like Summer.

Bare legs (I abhore stockings unless it's a job interview. But then I wear pants for interviews) and black pumps. No these are not them, but they are very close. Same heel height, same pointed toe. My are also from Nordstrom, but I can't find them on the website.

Hair is curly again today, but not as fun as the past few days. Looks a bit limp and metal-head-like. The reason I usually straighten it.

Foundation applied with a wet brush gives a sheer finish. Touch up my dark circles with concealer. Set it with the best bronzing powder I have found lately (though not featured on their site!!!), then a quick pat of blush on my cheeks. Curled the lashes, put on mascara and some gloss and I am ready to go!
