My Love Affair

I don't have a picture of my makeup - well I do but it's horrible. I am fighting a cold and allergies and my eyes are so puffy I look deformed. I tried to cover it up with expertly applied makeup, but makeup can't hide lumpy lids. Did shimmery white in the corners of the eyes and on the brow bone. White liner on the rims of my eyes, black liquid liner curved at the edges of the eyes, curled lashes. Pink cheeks and pink gloss.

This is a skirt I adore. I found it at Marshall's for $39.99. I haven't worn it in several months because I know it's bad for me and my figure.

However, I felt like a skirt today, and I didn't shave my legs this weekend. I thought it may look cute with my denim blazer (Ann Taylor) and a silk-cashmere scoop neck shell (Banana Republic). Not too bad. Put on the silver discs necklace from Chico's to counterbalance the sequins on the skirt, and my black pointy pumps from Brass Blum / Nordstrom finished the look.
