Boy I didn't feel like going to work today. At first I was dressed in a ribbed crewneck sweater and jeans, but then I remembered right after work my husband and I are double dating with dear friends for our annual Valentine's Day dinner at an Irish restaurant near their house. we can't meet tomorrow because the wife of the other couple has a soccer game tomorrow night (soccer on V Day! Terrible!). So I made a quick switch, trying to look festive, corporate and comfortable all at once.
Black triacetate suiting trousers from Ann Taylor Loft. Salmon pink silk knit scoop neck cap-sleeve shell from Ann Taylor Loft. Denim blazer from Ann Taylor. Two coral glass chip necklaces from a boutique at the beach. Gold chandelier earrings from Express. Gold bangle. Black boots from Enzo.

Hair is straightened with the dryer, then the tips with the iron. Touch of spray wax on the tips.

Makeup is Smashbox primer, L'Oreal True Match foundation, Chanel concealer and powder, Nars Orgasm blush, The Body Shop's Fawn Pearl shadow on the lids, L'Oreal Holographic shadow in Crown Jewel in the crease and along the lash line, touch of Clinique Snow shadow in the tear ducts. MAC X mascara.
