Black acrylic sweater from Kenzie with flared sleeves and exxagerated neckline. Denim trousers from Ann Taylor. Black boots from Enzo. Silver hoops and cuff.
Hair is not washed from yesterday's curls. A few pieces were put around a medium-barrel curling iron, and then the whole head brushed out with a wooden-bristled brush for retro volume and soft curls.
Makeup is L'Oreal True Match foundation, Chanel concealer and powder, Benefit's f...y...eye! on the lids for a smooth look. Nars Orgasm lightly dusted on the tops of the cheeks. Clinique Snow in the corners of the eyes, a touch of Garden Botanika ivory shadow on the lids. MAC's X mascara and Maybelline's black liquid Ultra Liner on the top lash line. On the lips is Cover Girl lipstick in a bright fuschia pink put over a matte lip balm for a sheer finish.
Hey, are those denim trousers from Ann Taylor or the Loft? They both have beautiful trousers right now...either way how do you like them? How do they compare with the Editor denim trousers?
ReplyDeleteThey are from Ann Taylor, I got them in the mail just last week from their website.
ReplyDeleteI like them because the only pocket is a small coin pocket in the front. No back pockets to ruin the line of my rear, no front slash pockets that gap. Lots of stretch, a bit heavier than many denim trousers so they don't get all baggy by the end of the day. They are a low rise, covered closure so no weird button at the waist. Very clean, crisp look. the only ones I have been able to find that I truely like, look hip but not matronly and not hoochie.
