Saturday I started off working my part time job - I sell The Body Shop at Home. Anyway, I had an event, so I wanted to look simple but tasteful. I chose to wear my black merino cowl neck from Ann Taylor with my Ann Taylor suiting trousers in charcoal. Black Enzo boots, silver cuff and silver hoops.

Hair was second-day (washed before bed and allowed to air dry with some Marc Anthony Strictly Curls gel mixed with a touch of Lubriderm), so piecey and wavy. I accentuated the wave with a large-barreled curling iron and a bit of Sebastian Mud on the tips.

Makeup was i.d. Bare Escentuals foundation and concealer, Almay bronzer all voer and a touch of Nars Orgasm on the cheeks. Eyes were done with the Cool Simmer Cubes from The Body Shop - smokey look with the purple color and a touch of the silvery color on the lids. Much mascara - MAC's X in black. On lips was The Body Shop's Sheer Lip Color in Sheer Pink.

After working, my husband and I went to visit our friends who live in a resort town. I switched from the suiting trousers to a pair of distressed chinos in stone from Old Navy.
