Hunp Day!

The fashionista is BACK! I looked at myself in the mirror today and was pretty pleased with my reflection.

Yet again, the hairstyle looks better a few days after. I did it curly, and bought a new collection of products - Suave has a line that is like the curly line from Matrix, but only $1.57 each at your local Target. I bought the shampoo, conditioner, root lifter and curling mousse. Washed and conditioned, applied an egg-size bit of the mousse and a few sprays of my Pantene thickening spray. Dried the hair with an ionic dryer with diffuser. Then I sprayed the whole head with my Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Humidity Spray, then re-curled the unruly areas with a curling iron. I shaped the bangs with a boar bristle round brush and the dryer sans diffuser. It looks GREAT, I really like it!

So the outfit - white ribbed tank from J. Crew, my beloved denim trouers from Ann Taylor, my navy twill shrunken blazer from Talbots. Around the neck is a long strand of sea-green and pale gray-blue and teeny silver beads - thank you Target. Silver cuff on the wrist and my tan leather thong heels from Mossimo/Target. Not a thrilling set, but I think I look quite hip, work-appropriate but fun. Wish I had a happy hour to attend after work!

Makeup is simple - L'Oreal True Match foundation, MAC stick concealer, Chanel powder, light dusting of Bare Escentuals Warmth as a bronzer. On eyes is The Body Shop's Granit on the lids, lashes curled, two coats of MAC X mascara in black, a touch of black kohl liner from The Body Shop around lash line. On lips is The Body Shop's Sheer Lip Color in 06, which I believe is Sheer Caramel (touch darker and more brown than my lips).
