Where in the world can you find Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses, Coach boots, Theory blouses, Ralph Lauren sheets and organic olive oil all at discount prices?
Marshalls, one of my favorite stores!
Marshalls used to be a must-visit when I was in high school, on a budget, and a size 4/6. I always knew I could find some trendy pieces for far less. I never had a problem finding my size, could always score a great deal on their clearance racks, and if something exceeded my paycheck from the local florist, I could always put it on layaway.
Then I grew up and changed… and Marshalls seemed to do the same. The store got junky, both in cleanliness and in brands that they stocked. Every time I left a Marshalls, the only thing I gained was a headache.
Marshalls has changed, and for the better. I have recently written about their Shoe MegaShop, well they have also created a boutique in some of their stores called The CUBE. The CUBE is a department that carries hot brand names for juniors and misses. Brands like Urban Outfitters, Tommy Hilfigger, Marc by Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Seven for All Mankind, and Calvin Klein. The in-store boutique displays not just rolling racks of clothing (like most of Marshalls), but displays of bags and other accessories. This unique way of organizing the department helps one really create a complete look in one shopping trip.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a The CUBE in-store boutique at my local Marshalls. Check this link to see if there is one near you.
And if you have visited The CUBE at Marshalls, I would love to hear your review of it!

I am shocked that there isn't one near us. I mean Leesburg...really...that's the closest one. So disappointing.
okay, now I am excited! I checked and there's a Cube near me! I am going to have to go check it out.
What about Ross? The Marshalls near us is always dirty, understaffed, and disorganized, but the Ross is clean, organized, has great brands and incredible pricing, and I love it!
