Picture 0034Picture 0043White stretch cotton shirt from Ann Taylor, tan stretch poplin pants from Caslon (yeppers, same pants as yesterday – got them at lunch yesterday), red croco peeptoe heels from Enzo Angiolini, silver cuff bracelet, white gold necklace with diamond drop (gift).

Hair is second day, it was blown straight while dry and a bit of BioSilk was added to the ends. I am in desperate need of a haircut.

Makeup is L'Oreal True Match foundation in C3, concealer in W4-5. A touch of Chanel pressed powder in Natural was added to the nose and forehead with a brush, then The body Shop's bronzer in Light on the cheeks, a bit on the chin and forehead and applied to the waddle to minimize it in shadow. Smashbox Soft Lights in Tint on cheeks. Eyes is Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral khakis – ivory in inner corners and along brow bone, olive on lid and along lash lines. lashes curled, DiorShow Unlimited mascara in black applied. On lips is a bit of Revlon LipGlide Sheer in Sheer Burgundy but then it ran out so I covered both lips with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Pink Afterglow.

Picture 0051here's a closeup of the new shoes that I bought yesterday. They are very shiny, more like nail polish than patent leather. They have that shimmery lacquer like a new car or polish. The shade is a bit pinky in it's extreme red and has some depth to the croco pattern. I think they are pretty darn fun.

I am only going to dry clean them because they are the kind of fabric that could shrink, get bunchy at the seams and need to be ironed, may lose their structure… they aren’t very heavy so I feared that even the gentle cycle on the machine and hang drying could end up ruining them by August.

I know they come in regular length, but the regular length on me was about a foot too long. They also come in a cropped version.

They come in black, tan, white, olive and brown.

DIG the shoes. Am also considering a trip to Nordstrom’s for those pants. Tell me, are they dry clean only or can you wash ’em? Not that it makes a diff, you look great either way. (And I would probably buy them either way.)

Those shoes look hot, but hard to walk in/ uncomfortable…

your outfit is pretty stunning. White makes me look like a marshmallow man, but on you it looks crisp and clean and nothing else…

I’m envious that you can walk in those shoes!
