Where To Shop for Rainbow Fashion: 30+ Pride Apparel and Accessories
A reader asked me where to shop for rainbow fashion after being inspired by my rainbow-striped Breton shirt. If you're desiring a wardrobe to show your Pride or because you love rainbows and color, I gathered together some of the best rainbow fashion for you. Most of this Pride apparel also supports LGBTQ+ causes.
When searching for the best places where to shop for rainbow fashion, I found that some of these items below give back to LGBTQ+ organizations; when they do I will state that and what organization they are supporting with your purchase. Many of the retailers featured below are LGBTQIA+ owned; I too will share that information when applicable.
This post was originally published in 2021 but updated for 2023 with rainbow and Pride items that are currently in stock. It was surprising how many companies had Pride-specific lines donating to LGBTQ+ organizations in 2021 and this year they don't have one. Therefore, this year I made an even more concerted effort to feature primarily products that support the LGBTQ+ community while also looking great!

I have no mixed feelings about Target’s bowing to the pressure of right wing concerns. In my book, if people come into your store and destroy merchandise and threaten your staff,you should call the police, as surely would have happened had these people been people of color. You kick them out of your store and or call the police, you don’t give into their threats. What Target did
was, there’s no other word for it, wrong. So disappointing.

Thank you so much for this recommendation! I too have mixed feelings about Target’s Pride collection and how they have handled things. I know it’s accessible to many for access, size, and price and I am disgusted by those suddenly boycotting a company that has been supporting GLESEN for over a decade so I kept them in the collage. But yeah… :/
TomboyX is great. I have several items from them – all great quality! My understanding is that it is women and/or queer owned.
Also, Lane Bryant usually releases a collection for Pride Month (June). That’s where I’ve found pride-message t-shirts to fit my 3X/4X body. I can’t remember if there was an associated donation.

Have to give a little shout out to my local sock store ModSocks that offers many brands, including their own designs under the Modsocks label. My fave is their rainbow/pride/ugly christmas sweater sock “Gay Apparel” It’s got unicorns, rainbows and Christmas Trees! But the puking rainbows socks are pretty good, too! Hi Alison – While it’s not fashion, both William Sonoma and Pottery Barn have Gifts That Give Back. Their mugs, towels and candles give back to Trevor Project. There was a rainbow doormat at Pottery Barn but it looks like that sold out. Also – a small business in Seattle called GlassyBaby does hand blown glass candles and gives back. Their latest candle came out today called living color and looks like a rainbow. They give to numerous charities. They are so beautiful. Check out their work if you get a chance. I personally love their drinkers – because who doesn’t want to drink out of a bright colored glass?
