Friday was Career Day at my daughter’s school. I knew about it but didn’t think of participating. Career Day is for scientists and fire fighters and nurses and pilots, not for bloggers. But then a parent at a nearby middle school reached out asking if I’d come to their school to discuss the real work…

Hair was washed but not conditioned because I ran…
My best friend just shared her pictures from the baby shower I attended a couple weeks ago. This was my first time wearing my Lands End Canvas oxford shirt, and I was feeling very creative with my oversized H&M scarf so I just had to share, even though it’s delayed! Blue oxford – Lands End…

Horribly rainy day, the type where styling your hair is a waste of time because it will be a strange piecey fizzy mess by 10am. Lady, you look sooo good. The jacket looks great on you.
Clicked through and bought that t shirt!

Thanks Tiffany!
So rock-n-roll. You look fabulous!
Thank you Dee!
LOVE this look! Totally appeals to my rocker chic self. You look fantastic!
Thanks Deb!
Lovin’ the jacket on you! And, I see, you managed to replace your tee 🙂
Yes! Though honestly this one doesn’t compare. It’s stiffer, it’s cut like a classic Hanes t-shirt, and it has even more crazy of washing instructions. I’ve stretched out the neck and hems to give it more of a relaxed/vintage feel.
I really like this jacket from StellaCarakasi—usually I feel that their items are so unstructured—but this jacket looks fabulous on you! Very rocker chic! jodie

Thanks Jodie!
Your shoes! You’ve been sprung from Chelsea Boot prison! And rocking a really cool look.
Not completely… this was too soon and I felt it and had to change. However, this weekend I have worn very low block heels. Baby steps!
