Picture 008Picture 0101What a gorgeous day! Very cold, but the sky is blue, the trees are shades of red and orange and the grass is so green from the many days of rain.

Makeup is L'Oreal true Match foundation in C3 used a concealer, philosophy The Supernatural in Beige, Nars blush in Orgasm, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis – the ivory in inner corners and over lid. Lashes curled, two coats of DiorShow and a thick line of Maybelline UltraLiner in black on top lash line. On lips is Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Shine That Pink.

Picture 012And here is my outerwear – raspberry sorbet-hued mac from Ann Taylor Loft (clearance rack $19.99, I believe fall 06?) and my avocado pashmina. I had the sleeves hemmed on the jacket to be more… “petite.” I considered getting rid of this jacket, but as soon as I did, I seemed to have many situations to wear it. And the color is so yum, it brightens up the rainiest of days!

  1. Everytime you wear that skirt I feel a little angry. You always look fantastic in it and I KNEW I should have bought it when I saw it. DAMMIT. Why did I pass on it? WHY??

  2. Hi Candice, welcome to my blog! 🙂

I do not wear hose, I own one pair of black just in case, but purchased them about 5 years ago and they are still in their packaging. I find they always look a bit false and cheesy on me. Tights or nekkid legs for me!

  3. Hi Allie,
    I’m new here! 🙂
I love your sense of style. In fact, I just bought myself a zebra skirt on ebay! You inspired me.

Do you wear stockings/hose? If so, can you tell me what brand? I have such a hard time finding “nude” stockings that look decent.

    Thanks!
    Candice

  4. Total love for the pink coat! If you ever decide to get rid of it after all, I have a closet that could keep it company *grin*

  5. Oh congrats D’Rae!

And my dear Southern Belle M; hold tight. I wanted the merino in this color and it disappeared all together. The dream is a nice weight – heavier than their merino and a bit fuzzy from the cashmere. Held it’s shape nicely through the day – worth the wait.

  6. i was wondering when you were going to break out your zebra print skirt? I finally found one on ebay the other day! In my size and brand new! Oh my word, I was so excited! I ended up getting it for about $10 including shipping.

  7. This coat is lovely… don’t ever get rid of it! I have a $19.99 coat from Ann Taylor Loft in a pink and black flower pattern, and while it’s not as versatile, you can’t beat the quality for the price… You look great!
