As previously mentioned, I went to my sister's on Saturday night. Casual affair, good food, good company.

Shoes – Me Too (no longer available)
Necklace – Ann Taylor (no longer available)

I got a comment and an email about which jeans these are from LOFT – they are the Antiqued Indigo Curvy Straight jeans in 31/12 Regular.  I love the color (dark but not weirdly dark and with yellow stitching), and I love the leg (straight without too jeggings-like), but I don't like the waist/crotch/butt area.  These jeans are super cute until that point, where they look like mom jeans.  They stretch out in the top part VERY easily, leaving a blousey/dialer look in the crotch and saddlebags in the bum.  Unfortunately I couldn't tell this until I wore them a couple hours.  This is one reason why I am such a NYDJ fan – because they are meant to suck and lift, they keep their shape in the crotch and bum after hours of wear and multiple washings, yet are still as comfortable as a pair of yoga pants.

You can also see my new Lands End coat to the right (as well as Emerson playing Chess on the floor).  The coat is the Women's Luxe Down Coat in Spice Brown – I got a Petite Large and it fits perfectly even with a thicker sweater.  I will be having a full review very soon on Wardrobe Oxygen.

  1. Great outfit! definetly you look slimmer, I just had my third baby this year and reading your blogs is so helpful and inspiring, thanks for sharing your thoughts!

  2. I agree; this outfit is really flattering on you. They say not to wear horizontal stripes, but you are rocking this look.

Also, just read about the kid swap thing. What a wonderful idea. It’s nice to see people not trying to make a buck and just blessing someone else with their older stuff. I love that.

  3. Hi Allie, I just wanted to say your weight loss is showing over all but I think in your face as well. You look very good and very happy.

I am also on that journey, but through Jenny Craig (I have a lifetime membership, not available any longer) and I am glad to be doing something good for myself:-).
    Thank you for the inspiration.
