Friday night I got home and realized I spilled on my dress, so I switched to the dress that arrived in the mail – the “Kate” dress from J. Crew in “Flame.” This is a bright orange-red that I adore. On sale and with a coupon so the dress was a cheap as Old Navy. Score! Same accessories.
Attended a circle of women in my community which was really wonderful. Met some new people, connected closer with those I already knew, had some of the BEST watermelon of the season!
Saturday… for the life of me I cannot remember Saturday. Oh yes, yoga, then lunch with my mom, then ran errands. I came home and tried out some of the camping supplies for our upcoming trip to Bonnaroo, waterproofed my Duo boots, took a nap, went out to dinner… nothing terribly exciting and no pictures.
Sunday began with errands and then yoga.

As someone with a large bust, it has been a struggle to find sports bras that fit, reduce bounce, and don’t destroy my shape. For years, I have researched sports bra to find one that provides all three. One will fit, but my breasts are to my navel. Another, it gives great shape and lifts…
Can you do a capsule wardrobe that is full of prints and personality? Capsule wardrobes always are so minimalistic and boring. I want to shrink my wardrobe but I don’t want to lose the fun it has. What does it take to be stylish? I look at street style and blogs like The Sartorialist and…
In the 2000’s it was all about the bootcut jean. The 2010’s was all about skinny jeans and jeggings. Now in the 2020’s it seems most every style of denim is acceptable but there is a real resurgence of the 1990’s style of jean. A little loose, a little borrowed from the boys, sort of…
What types of handbags should the average career woman have in her closet? Also, could you advise me on a classic, plain, black everyday bag? A career woman should have some sort of tote or satchel that is preferably black and can carry the unexpected – materials for a presentation, swag from a conference, a…
LOVE that dress with those sandals. What a fantastic color, reminds me of that long ago blood orange Mizrahi sweater at Target.
