Friday night I got home and realized I spilled on my dress, so I switched to the dress that arrived in the mail – the “Kate” dress from J. Crew in “Flame.” This is a bright orange-red that I adore. On sale and with a coupon so the dress was a cheap as Old Navy. Score! Same accessories.
Attended a circle of women in my community which was really wonderful. Met some new people, connected closer with those I already knew, had some of the BEST watermelon of the season!
Saturday… for the life of me I cannot remember Saturday. Oh yes, yoga, then lunch with my mom, then ran errands. I came home and tried out some of the camping supplies for our upcoming trip to Bonnaroo, waterproofed my Duo boots, took a nap, went out to dinner… nothing terribly exciting and no pictures.
Sunday began with errands and then yoga.

After my little rant about the awful offerings in wide width shoes and plus size fashion, I went on another wide width shoe search (see my previous post on wide width dressy shoes). Come on world, if I am the CDC’s average height and size, shouldn’t I be able to find decent shoes? Here’s what…
I love wine, but I don’t know a lot about it. I once subscribed to Food and Wine magazine to educate myself better, but got overwhelmed. I go to the store, look for a bottle between $9 – $15, and often decide based upon the look of the label. I love coffee, but I don’t…
I need flat, stylish shoes that I can wear with socks on chilly fall and winter days. I love the way that ballet flats look but obviously socks don’t work with them. I have low, black, ankle boots with a kitten heel, but need to mix it up with some other work-appropriate shoes (meaning, no…
Each spring I am drawn to all the pretty lightweight coats and jackets… but so few of them are actually practical. Living on the Eastern Seaboard of the USA, spring means April showers (and March showers), blustery days, and the need for wind and rain protection. I shop for Emerson and see the greatest raincoats…
If you follow Wardrobe Oxygen on Facebook, you probably already know the answer to the post title – the best office jacket for spring and summer is a knit one. With a structured shape but made out of a soft stretchy fabric, this jacket will be the perfect way to transition from a sweltering summer…
This was the weekend of the black dress by Boob. This dress is awesome- tissue weight so it’s breezy, really pretty neckline, super comfy and can dress up or down. Sunday I had brunch with three of my best girl friends. It was a bit humid and cloudy out… one of those days where you…
LOVE that dress with those sandals. What a fantastic color, reminds me of that long ago blood orange Mizrahi sweater at Target.
