With my broken toe, my daily work wardrobe has gotten mundane, but maxi dresses and skirts are a way to add fun while still wearing my roomy sensible flat shoes. I'm surprised at how often I wear this Ankara maxi skirt (last seen on the blog here). I pair with a tee shirt and denim jacket and have also worn with a black turtleneck sweater. I look forward to the temps rising so I can pair it with a simple ribbed tank or one of my many band tees!

  1. I wore our matching skirt on Saturday night to go out to dinner here in San Diego with friends-I wore mine with a black teeshirt (J Crew), ancient jean jacket (Old Navy), black heels and a green chunky necklace. I’m so glad you introduced me to it!

  2. i LOVE this skirt! and how you styled it. plus, the wintery, slushy backdrop is perfect. well, there you have it – fabulousness from every angle.
