Tonight I am going to an event to celebrate a new Ann Taylor concept shop opening in DC, so you know I HAD to wear my latest Ann Taylor purchase! Let me know if you will be there, it would be great to meet up!
This weekend was busy but I don't feel that I have much to show for it. Saturday morning, Emerson woke sounding like Stevie Nicks so we decided to pass on swim class. She slept almost the entire weekend which was good for her recovery, but bad for us accomplishing anything outside of the house. We did get a lot of cleaning and laundry done, and I got some writing assignments completed. On Sunday we had the swap – while I was able to gut Emerson's closet of clothes that no longer fit, we didn't get much for her – a cute pair of fleece pajama pants with frogs on them, a pair of flannel pajamas, and a few “new” books for her library. We took a long family walk last night, Emerson found it terribly decadent to go for a walk when the sun was setting, she felt like a “big girl” being out when it was dark!
For those who were concerned about my neck/shoulder, I have an appointment with a doctor on tomorrow. I'll keep you posted with the results!
