This post is sponsored by Gwynnie Bee, but all words and thoughts are my own.
You all know I am a fan of Gwynnie Bee. I have been a member of this plus size clothing rental service for over five years and find the quality, selection, and brands keeps getting better and better. I know many of you also use Gwynnie Bee and appreciate it for different reasons. Some love Gwynnie Bee because it adds variety to a basic wardrobe. Some love how Gwynnie Bee lets you borrow and then buy, adding to your closet new brands and silhouettes you may not be able to find at stores nearby. I love how I can rent trendy looks to add fun touches to my looks, but be able to return them without buyer's remorse at the end of the season.
This dress came in a recent Gwynnie Bee box and I was surprised by how much I really liked it on. If you follow me on InstaStories, you know I wore this dress on Thanksgiving and it was perfect. In these photos and on Thanksgiving, I wore the dress with knee-high boots though it would also work with ankle booties. On Thanksgiving I styled it with an old black velvet choker; here I styled it with a pair of gold dangle earrings. With a print like this, you don't need a lot of accessories. While the sleeves are full, they're breezy and easily slip into the sleeves of a denim jacket or leather Moto jacket which would winterize this look. I felt this dress was a modern-day prairie dress, so we decided to take photos of it at the nearby Beltsville Agricultural Research Center. We are so lucky to have such gorgeous farmland literally in our town's backyard. During weekdays they open up a gate and we can drive right from our town through the farm roads to reach neighboring Beltsville, the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, or the Goddard Space Flight Center.
Gwynnie Bee has expanded their offerings, now having a shop where you can purchase jewelry, lingerie, belts, sunglasses, activewear, and a variety of new clothing. All pieces are designed to flatter a plus size figure. Recently I tried the GB Marketplace and got the GB Exclusive Ring Stack. I wear a size 10 ring which is near impossible to find at most retailers, especially out of quality materials. The Ring Stack is three separate rings you can wear together on one finger, choose an individual ring for a delicate look, or spread them across several fingers. They come in 14K gold fill or sterling silver in sizes 5-12. This would be an awesome gift to give (or gift to yourself!). If you know me in person, I've been wearing these rings pretty constantly. A Gwynnie Bee gift card would also be a pretty cool gift for the fashionista in your life, a loved one who got a new job and suddenly needs a new wardrobe, a friend who is looking to update her look, or most anyone who would appreciate a closet update. It's also a way to get exclusive access to the GB Marketplace!

Black sheath from Banana Republic (hello eBay!), black tights from Talbots, purple patent with snakeskin trim Mary Janes from Poetic License. Hair washed, conditioned, but of Jonathan Silky Dirt and then scrunched. Air dry 50%, diffuser with dryer the other 50% and then used a curling iron on the unruly pieces. Going out after work,…
Black merino crewneck from Banana Republic, honey colored wool blend coin-pocket trousers from Ann Taylor Loft, teal suede wedges from Seychelles (it’s like wearing Business Casual slippers!), silver dangle earrings from Nordstrom, silver cuff bracelet, a heck of a lot of Eucerin Calming Cream. Hair was allowed to air dry last night. That combined with…
Who would have thought a bold pink pantsuit would be one of the hardest working pieces in my wardrobe? I bought this suit a year ago without a purpose or a place but just because I loved the color and I love how Banana Republic suiting fits me. I wore it to the rewardStyle conference,…

I used to post how I looked every day – work and casual. I got lazy with it, not enough time, etc. Well this is a typical look for me when I work from home. Not gussied up, but I feel as though I am far more productive and comfortable if I wouldn’t be utterly…
… and I am not ashamed to share it with my daughter. And I KNOW many of you know what book this is. Hopefully some of you also know what CD cover she is holding as well. I held off on reading this book for a very long time. My sister finally passed her well-worn…
This is a lovely photoshoot. You look so serene and youthful. The outfit is nice but the star is you. I would love to try a service like Gwynn ie bee but at 5’1″ and a size 14/16 there is almost nothing I wear that does not need some kind of alterations. To look rihht

It is harder when you’re petite, at 5’3″ I have learned to try only certain silhouettes.
Dang! I wish the Agricultural Centre I work at looked like that! What a gorgeous building.
Wish GwynnieBee shipped internationally. You’ve found some absolute winners (such as this dress).
It’s a gorgeous place, I love driving or riding a bike through it!
