I wasn't going to do any clothing shopping for me this month, but I saw this sweater at Nordstrom and had to have it. I have again gotten myself stuck where I don't have a lot of casual and weekend clothing. This is an issue I deal with often in the winter as I don't like many of the trends for current casual wear on my body (longer sweaters, skinny jeans). While I love skirts and dresses for work, it's nice to throw on a pair of jeans on weekends, and I am at a place with my weight-loss where I don't really like this body in jeans and can't find many that fit. This sweater, while it looks great for work, also looks nice with my NYDJ jeans as well as my black ponte mini-boot pants from LOFT, making it work for work as well as play!

I haven’t since doing Color Me Beautiful decades ago. But I do look far better in cool clear brights than anything else. Good thing, since it’s my favorite thing to wear!

I almost never comment, but I just had to say you look fabulous in brights! Have you ever had ‘your colors done’? You’ve gotta be a Bright Winter or Bright Spring. I vote for Bright Spring since I don’t think you’re all black looks are nearly as stunning as this. (but i’m no expert)

Joining in with the reast of them: great colour blocking, great bra and the whole outfit with the bag and colours peeking out is just perfect!

Perhaps my favorite outfit on you this season!  That orange skirt is just divine.

Have to say I was excited for such balmy weather today so I could wear this coat and have the colors peek out!

This is such a cheerful outfit, and I’ll agree with a previous commenter that it also showcases exactly how much a great bra can aid an outfit!

Great post….I MUST go have a fitting done. I, too, am amply endowed and need some better support.

You look really slim in this outfit, too, which goes to show that bright colors don’t have to add pounds! PS, this question may be a bit awkward (sorry!) but what brand of bras do you buy? Your ta-tas look fabulous in that sweater. :0

How fun are those colors?? Love how you’ve matched the intensity of the orange and pink.

LURVE this color combo! and the extra pop of blue is fab.
while it stinks to have to constantly be on the lookout for new clothes (especially replacing standards and staples — and im right there in the same boat with you) at least its for an awesome reason! keep up the good work, doll!

Love the colors.  I’m also going through a weight loss with WW and have really had to change up my clothing.  I’m going to suggest the Gap Skinny Bootcut Cords.  They are awesome, feel like sweatpants, can be dressed up and down and are very slimming.  I just got a pair in the mail yesterday and I don’t want to take them out.  The dark brown color looks great.

Double duty clothes are the best! Great color blocking, both items are so vibrant and pretty.  Your blue bag was the perfect addition.

SUCH a fabulous outfit. I loved that skirt with the blue sweater a few weeks ago and I love it now.
