Black and white skirt – Carole Little (purchased at Marshall's several years ago)
Black patent peeptoe heels – Nine West “Masquerader” (no longer available – similar)
Another item from the attic. I remember the last time I wore this skirt, it was so tight it cut into my stomach. Now, it's a bit big and the belt is keeping it in place! Longtime readers may remember this skirt, it got a lot of play back from 2006 – 2008 (you can see me wearing it on my April Fool's post in 2008).
Emerson is in LOVE with this skirt, I don't know how often I will wear it again, but will be sure to keep it for her for her dress-up box when she is older!

Well while wearing it yesterday it kept slipping down past the belt. May have to get it altered so I can keep wearing it!

well, i agree with everyone else — i think you should wear it again and again until it is really too big to even belt it. it looks great on you!!! i thought it was a dress at first.

I love that skirt. I had a very similar one, also from Marshall’s. I wish I still had it–I’d totally wear it now. That style is hard to find currently!

It’s proof of how trends change – mixing those two prints in ’08 was crazy, now it’s accepted. However the top was ivory and the skirt white so the combo was a bit off IRL 🙂
You should definitely wear this skirt again. Big, puffy-ish skirts are in this summer and this is very flattering on you!
