This print looks so good with orange-red, but since I wore it yesterday I went slightly different with a pinky-red. Guess it's not a drastic change, but I just love such a graphic print with bold colors, and most of my boldly-colored pieces are either wintry or uber-casual… or a shade of red!

Here's my other score from LOFT – what a gorgeous skirt! Heavyweight twill that doesn't crease, fully lined, classic silhouette. This could be worn year-round in such fabric – how fantastic would it look come fall with some tall black boots?!

I am in desperate need of a hair cut but want to wait until after Bonnaroo.  Think Emerson and I will have a date to the salon together because her hair is going past being beachy babe to scraggly craziness.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway to win $100 worth of products from Mary Kay!

Dress: Ann Taylor (bought last spring)Shoes: Sofft Pearls: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (two different necklaces) I had a major pearl kick a couple years ago (seen here and through much of ’06 and ’07).  Lately I haven’t felt like a pearl sort of person.  Seemed too… obvious.  Almost like a costume.  Then I saw these champagne-colored…

  1. I just found your blog via what would a nerd wear and I love it.  The first thing I thought was wow your style is wearable with just a touch of trendy.  I have no fashion sense at all and I need to learn how to look like a grown up woman. I am looking forward to following your blog and improving my fashion skills.  Thank you!

  2. This is my 4th Roo and like you I swore I would never go back unless I had better amenities.  Well we decided it’s the 10th anniversary and will be our main vaca this year so we upped to VIP 🙂

Jealous about Coachella, my friend went this year and had a blast!

  3. Love love love that bag!  I rarely use something so structured in my own life, but they sure are pretty to look at 🙂  And that color is fabulous!!!

P.S.  OMG, so jealous that you are going to Bonnaroo.  I have been 3 times over the last 4 or 5 years.  I always had such a great time, but vowed never to go back unless I could afford VIP, a camper, or a hotel, haha!  Now I’ve moved to California and it’s definitely too long a drive…so I’m just waiting for Coachella 2012.  Hope you have a fabulous time and remember to drink lots of water 🙂
