In the summer, I feel one can get away with cheaper clothing.  Not as perfect of tailoring, a lower quality fabric, something to throw on and go.  This dress was $41 at ASOS; I got it in May and it has been my summer go-to dress.  I've worn with flip flops and a fedora to the farmers' market, with my gold gladiator sandals to brunch with friends, and wore it just like this when we went out to dinner and then drinks while at Rehoboth Beach.  It's not lined, but it has adjustable straps and a self-belt to cinch as needed, I washed on gentle, line dried and ironed and it stayed looking great.  This is not what you would call an investment piece, but it has a high cost per wear and I won't feel guilty if next summer my body or personal style no longer fit it.  I'll spend on a good piece for fall, winter, and spring… but when it comes to summer I'm all about dresses like this!

Ah the glamorous fashion of a woman who lounges in bed all day… (and you KNEW I just couldn’t stay away!!!) It really sucks to work from one’s bed. Try to lie on your back, raise your feet, have a giant belly and type on a laptop. Yeah, not too successful. My mom is coming…
