Morning yoga class. We walk there and back, and it was a lovely day for being outside. Olive ribbed tank from J. Crew, white ribbed tank from Old Navy, cropped camo pants with orange and hot pink embroidery on the back of the leg from Express, Reef “Sandy” flip flops in black.
Hair washed the night before and allowed to air dry. Brushed the ends with a wood-bristled paddle brush.
Face is makeup free, just some Body Shop SPF 15 Vitamin E facial moisturizer.
The rest of the day was spent hanging around the house, doing errands, and then my sister came over for dinner. Very low key and nothing super fancy was donned post-yoga.
And here is a photo of my bathroom with the zebra shower curtain. My husband admits that it has grown on him, and my sister and mom both have stopped by and said they like it a lot. I love how the mirror is all zebra in the picture, very fun!

Black scoop necked cotton short-sleeved sweater with empire waist from Old Navy, black twill cuffed walking shorts from Gap Outlet, black leather thong heels from Mossimo, silver hoops from The Icing, silver cuff. Hair is second day, I tried straightening it with the iron, but then didn’t have time to fiddle much with it so…
First day at the new job! It was really pretty out, took flats for trekking around and a pashmina for warmth and that was about it. Teal merino bateau-neck sweater from Banana Republic (’07), black pencil skirt from Old Navy (’07), leopard peeptoe heels from BCBGirls (’07), tortoise necklace from beach boutique (’07), and gold…
Another terribly foggy day in the Nation’s Capital. Heading north on 295 traffic was stop and go – not because of any issues – just people rubbernecking at fog. I then treated myself to a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks after my ridiculous commute. Black cotton wrap shirt from Ann Taylor, dark denim pencil skirt…
Jacket: Ann Taylor (similar) | Tank: Ann Taylor (similar) | Scarf: Express (similar) | Skirt: Halogen (similar) | Tights: DKNY | Booties: Nine West I worked for Express from 1997 – 2001 and during that time I think they had some of their very best collections. To this day, I still have fabulous dresses, leather…
Most of us have a clothing weakness. For some, it’s fun printed pants, for others it may be a fit and flare dress. I know many have a signature color and will buy an item even if they don’t need it or love it on them because it’s in the perfect shade. I’m a sucker…
While I don’t like the taste of a pumpkin spice latte, I do love the color. Not quite orange, not quite brown, the color becomes a neutral like olive green that looks great with other neutrals but spices up jewel tones and makes surprisingly beautiful color combinations. Paired with berry, plum, teal, navy, mustard, red,…
I’m with the rest–LOVE IT! Awesome!!! unlike mine which looks like fireworks threw up in it thanks to the DH’s attempts at “ragging” the walls…in red, white, and blue (yes, it’s even worse than it sounds!)
You have gorgeous skin and fab eyelashes

The bathroom looks great!
I love the shower curtain with the turquoise walls! Normally I’m not a huge fan of animal prints, but they look really good together. Good choice.
I love that shower curtain! Very hip! I need to redo my bathroom. Thanks for sharing.
the zebra print looks great with that wall color!
Your bathroom looks amazing! You’re quite the decorator. Great taste.
