Saturday and Sunday

Delete 20001Delete 20002Saturday night pictures taken after the event, so the makeup and hair are not quite as fresh. It was one of our best friend's birthday and we went to dinner at a Japanese restaurant with him, friends and family. Afterwards we tried to see a movie but it was sold out so we headed home to do some Netflixing.

Blackberry dolman-sleeved sweater from Ann Taylor Loft, denim trousers from Gap, black city boots from Aldo and silver cuff and dangle earrings.

Hair was washed, conditioned, bit of Samy Mucho Volume on the roots, Paul Mitchell Styling Lotion on the strands. Blown straight, and a bit of Jonathan Dirt to make it look piecey. It looked tres cute before a few drinkies of sake, a glass of wine, and freezing cold wind outside.

Makeup is L'Oreal True Match foundation and concealer, Physician's Formula bronzer in light, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in neutral on the eyes – ivory in inner corners and on brow bone, khaki on lid, chocolate in crease and along lash lines. L'Oreal Voluminous mascara in black. Revlon ColorGlide sheer in Sheer Burgundy.

The two boys are driving a couple of hours to pick it up and leave it at a relative's house – the relative who is hosting their family Christmas. She will arrive and then see the furniture. Very sweet, and very requiring of an early day. I went with the guys to a local diner for some grub before their journey so I didn't really try to look utterly fabu.

Blue marled yarn wool sweater from a thrift store, under it is my gray CBGB tee shirt. On the legs are my Lowrise Bootcut jeans from Gap – the ones I used to have to do squats in to make wearable. Slipped right on. Rock on!!!!! On feet were my New Balance trainers and some cozy orange and pink socks from Gap that my sister got me the year before my wedding (I had an orange and pink wedding).

Hair is just brushed from the night before.

Makeup is L'Oreal True Match foundation, bit of Physician's Formula bronzer, L'Oreal Voluminous mascara in black, and then e.l.f. lipgloss in a sheer red.
