Meeting with client. Business casual is the attire. Then have to fly home in the outfit. Comfort and chic.
Black merino turtleneck from Ann Taylor. Ivory ribbed suiting pants from Ann Taylor (dry cleaner ruined the matching jacket, but the pants are still nice). Same black city boots from Enzo, same silver hoops and cuff bracelet. Wore a rasperry-colored trench from Ann Taylor Loft and carried my laptop bag as purse and case – it's black microfiber and part of the Michael Graves collection at Target.
Hair was washed and conditioned with the hotel stuff, then a bit of VO5 mousse applied and blown straight with crappy hotel dryer and round brush. Let's add to the fact that it was raining cats and dogs outside. Hair did NOT want to cooperate.
Makeup was L'Oreal True Match foundation, Body Shop concealer, Chanel pressed powder applied with brush. Nars Orgasm blush. Body Shop Sheer lipcolor in 03. Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in neutral, L'Oreal Volume Shocking mascara and a touch of slate eyeliner from The Body Shop.
