Yesterday Sonia asked in the comments how many pairs of leopard- and cheetah-print shoes I owned and I realized I haven't given these cuties from Target much attention. While they are comfortable to stand in and I can easily walk to and from the Metro, they aren't good all-day shoes and I can't do much more walking than that in them. Today I drove to work, so it made for a good tall leopard shoe day.

And just in case I have to go anywhere unexpectedly, I have yesterday's comfy shoes in my bag as a backup!

  1. I call these “car to chair” shoes. I have a number of them–still worth purchasing as long as you’re conscious of when and where you wear them. These are fabulous. I especially love the mix of colors and prints.

  3. Love this look! I am not a heel person (I love the way they look not they way they feel), but I do have four pairs of leopard flats 🙂 They are just so easy to buy!

  5. I usually put Footpetals in my shoes but haven’t done so with these… yet. I think if they had something to keep the foot from sliding forward they would be more wearable. The platform really does balance out the crazy high heels!

  6. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing stripes and leopard print together – it’s such an unexpected form of pattern mixing, but it really works.

  8. I love the way the height of these shoes look on you!  So adorable!!

Funny thing was I was planning on wearing a pair of heeled sandals (only 3″ high) this morning, and carry my flats as a backup.  Fortunately, I realized before I left the house that my feet weren’t ready for heels and so the flats won out.

  10. I have the same shoes and was thinking of trying an insert in them to get more wearing power.  I love them and always get a lot of compliments on them, but you are right–they are not all day shoes.  I have them in black too, so I guess I am doubly interested in insoles!

  12. Love the skirt! And thanks for talking about the walkability of the shoes – I love them, but that just answered my question of whether or not I could walk and stand in them all day once school is back in session. Sounds like they’re date night shoes only if I decide to get some like them.
