Hair is day 2.1, all I did was hit the bedhead with a curling iron and added a tiny bit more of Jonathan Silky Dirt, twirling around sections and using to smooth bangs.

Makeup is L'Oreal True Match concealer in W1-3, Bare Escentuals mineral foundation in Fairly Light, Nars blush in Orgasm, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral khakis – ivory over whole lid, lashes curled and two coats of Cover Girl Lash Blast in black, Maybelline UltraLiner in black on top lash line and on lips is Revlon ColorStay lipcolor in Rich Raisin.

Picture 0073And loving my new shoes! With my thick ankles and calves, I can't wear most of the cute bootie styles of this season. These heeled oxfords give the bootie look without hitting at an unflattering point on my leg. The heels are HIGH but my foot seems to be made for BCBGirls shoes (hence my three pairs of peeptoes from them) so they are as comfortable as sky-high skinny heels can be. Plan to put a pair of Footpetals in them this evening to add to the comfort level.

I brought my Naturalizer black flats in case I can't make it through a whole day (jsut got them last night so they haven't been broken in) but after the commute to work, I think i will be fine with them all day!

  1. I saw this dress at a SF boutique and couldn’t figure out how to get away from the black boots and red dress combo. I love what you did with the dress and the shoes- makes me think about dragging out my Franco Sarto heels that I would usually only think of wearing with pants. thanks for the inspiration!
