Allie 0031Allie 0043I don't think this pictures accurately show how darn patootin' cute this dress and outfit is! I usually don't get so riled up, but this dress is very fun and cheap. Cheap makes it even cuter! I feel that it makes up for my fashion doldrums of late.

Olive (far more green than it shows in these pics and not so heavy – regular linen not burlap) linen puff-sleeved shift dress from Old Navy (it was I think $29 and they had tons int he store yesterday in olive and cream), gold chain from Express, gold hoops and bangles from The Icing, leopard peep-toe pumps from BCBGirls (and FYI these are on sale at the Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale, they come in brown and black snakeskin too – just ordered them in the snakeskin because these for me are the most comfy tall heels I have EVER purchased!).

Hair is second day. All I did was brush it.

makeup is Bare Escentuals mineral foundation in Fairly Light, Body Shop bronzer in light applied sparingly, Smashbox Soft Lights in tint on the cheeks. Eyes is the Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis – ivory in inner corners and along brow bone, olive applied with wet brush to lower part of lid, with dry brush to rest. Olive and chocolate blended into crease and along lash lines. Lashes curled, max Factor's Lash perfection in black added, and then a very thin line of Maybelline Ultra Liner in black on top lash line. On lips is Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss in Strawberry Fizz (the flash really washed me out today – the gloss is super glisteny).

  1. The dress is great and it really suits your style. I love good cheap dresses too…the aqua one I wore for my bday that you commented on…$10 at Dillards like 6 years ago….still my #1 favorite dress I’ve ever owned!

  2. Love the entire outfit too! I checked out Nordstrom’s online for your FANTASTIC shoes but didn’t see them…do they have a style name (you know how some stores give their shoes a “name”? “emily, larry, etc.) lol – trying to Google them for a while now.

  3. Okay, gotta comment on this outfit. Totally cute dress! And the color looks wonderful on you (and with the color of your hair). Again – wonderful dress that looks great on you.
