I am just loving all the colors of wine that are on trend this fall!  Nordstrom has you wine-lovers covered with a great selection of clothing, accessories, footwear, and beauty.  For this look I mixed a bunch together with shades of red; no need to go matchy matchy with your outfits.  The bag is called Dark Cherry, the scarf's primary color is red, the lips a brighter red, the sweater burgundy, the boots are a dark bronze.  Mixed together, each color looks more rich.  The wine color trend is one that is worth investing in if you like it; it is a perennial hit each fall and winter and is easy to transition into spring with shades of blush, ivory, and lighter denim.  And did you know Nordstrom now carries J. Crew?  So awesome!

vigilante-coffee wardrobe-oxygen-at-vigilante-coffee-hyattsville I wore this look on a Friday when I worked from home.  During the day I rocked the sweater and jeans and just added the scarf to make it more polished.  When I get the chance to work from home on Fridays, Karl and I do a coffee happy hour at Vigilante Coffee, an independent roastery and cafe in Hyattsville, Maryland.

wardrobe-oxygen-with-rebecca-minkoff-vanity-bagWe've been going for years and love seeing it grow and gain popularity.  Much deserved, they see coffee as a form of art, take their reputation seriously while still being down to earth and friendly.  It was nice to have a little coffee (in this case a Japanese pour-over on ice) with my wine!

Thank you Nordstrom for sponsoring this post.  I've been a Nordy Girl for years, since my retail days when I'd start my day with one of their Ice Storms from the espresso bar and spend my lunchbreak enjoying the beautiful serenity of their stores.  I'm proud to partner with a company that continues to offer stellar customer service in person and online and continue to grow their size selection for women's fashion!

  1. The wine/bronze colors look fabulous on you! Near your face, they make your complexion luminous, and pick up the red tones in your hair. I call you a deep autumn/winter hybrid, as you can wear black, but these colors are my favorite!

  2. I love all the different shades of wine. I often do something similar with purple. I am a relative newcomer to this blog, and I am wondering if we could see your work in the office outfits sometime.

    1. Hi Trisha, welcome! I hope to have some in the future. My office look lately has been pretty casual as meetings have been of a minimum. For example today I’m wearing the sweater dress in this post http://www.wardrobeoxygen.com/2016/10/wore-7-dial-shoes.html with black tights, black ankle booties, and a bandana tied at my neck. I hope to have some time this weekend to recreate what I’ve worn to work lately and have them on the blog soon! 🙂

  3. This is going to sound weird, but I totally wish I was having coffee with you to discuss life and everything that has happened in the past month or so in the world. I’ve appreciated your tweets and posts so much!
