Style Inspo & Sale Alert

Don't judge a book by its cover, or its dated reputation. I hope that with Wardrobe Oxygen I show you that style can be found at a range of retailers and pricepoints and those stereotypes of some brands are dated and downright wrong. For example, guess the retailer for the pieces in the collage below:

collage of spring/summer 2026 new arrivals from Lands' End that have a preppy/boho vibe

It's all Lands' End. And you could easily find similar pieces at Ralph Lauren, Tuckernuck, Sézane, Evereve, or J. Crew. Shop the collage below:

I know y'all love Ruti for jeans and their gone viral On the Loose Work Pants. I am thrilled to share Ruti has providing the Wardrobe Oxygen community a code: use ALISON15 at checkout for 15% off your order!

Through this weekend, Rachel Antonoff has an additional 30% off markdowns, with up to 80% off. I don't know if it will work with this sale, but at checkout try code ALISON15 and it may offer an extra 15% off. Rachel Antonoff is one of the few higher-end labels that offers plus size. I find the pants run a bit small, but tops (jackets, sweaters, knits) are TTS. I own pieces in XL, my sister in 2X and we wear these sizes in a range of other brands (Banana Republic, J.Crew, etc.). I am seriously considering this badass trench, my sister has this puffer in the “Manhunt” print and it's even more fab in person, this dress print is second-glance amazing, and you know I'd love this sweater!

The FARM Rio Lovers Event is on with an extra 25% off sitewide. I know y'all love FARM Rio as much as I do. I find the fit is a bit roomy, a bit for a taller person, and someone with average-sized boobs, but I still find a lot of success.

  • If you're looking for a grown woman going-out top, FARM Rio is a great destination. With linen pants, white or ecru jeans, regular jeans, a midi skirt, even shorts I'd rock this top, this top, this top, this top, and I already said I love this top.
  • I also love this top for dressing up or down, work or weekend. This colorful cardigan would be lovely over a sundress, a simple white tank, or even a crisp button-front shirt. And how cool is this elevated tee?
  • Speaking of crisp button-front shirt, I want to tie one at the waist and wear with this skirt.
  • Upcoming weddings or special occasions? Check out this dress, this dress, this dress, and this dress. I own this dress; it's too long but I am having the extra fabric on the bottom turned into bra-friendly tie straps.

hacks season 5 episode 1 deborah outside the courthouse

Hacks (HBO) is back, so I of course am watching. I couldn't believe it, but when we went to watch Episode 1 of this season, we realized we never watched the last episode of last season! So it was a nice way to recap and be ready for the new episode.

I'm still working on everything else I have mentioned in recent weeks. With the weather improving, I have spent more time outside and less in front of the TV. I'd love to watch a movie this weekend, though so if you have any recommendations for one available on streaming, preferably something new I haven't seen or old and I may have missed, let me know in the comments!

Hudson Williams, who came to fame for his role as Shane Hollander in Heated Rivalry, is absolutely everywhere these days. This week, it dropped he is doing a collab with Peloton and social media is going gaga over it. This week, he also stars in the video for “Madwoman,” a song by Icelandic-Chinese jazz-pop singer Laufey. I love this for Laufey, who is incredibly talented as this will bring her to a new and larger audience.
