Off to yoga! Coral ribbed tank from Old Navy, orange scoop tee from American Apparel, black knit pants from ProSpirit, low-top Chucks.
Hair was brushed and bangs straightened with dryer and round brush.
Makeup is spots of L'Oreal True Match foundation in C3, a touch of Cargo Matte BeachBlush in Tenerife and Imju Fiberwig mascara. I know after yoga we'll be going to the grocery and Target so I didn't want to look COMPLETELY like death warmed over…
This is my new commuter splurge – a longer coat from Lands End. It's darn cold out there! As usual, Lands End does run a bit large, but I think a size Medium coat would be skin tight. But this coat will let me wear skirts to work, it's pretty thin so I don't feel like a total marshmallow and it is reversible (though the other side just looks like the lining, not too chic). But it's super warm!

I know I haven’t posted a lot. It’s because… I hate my wardrobe. Yes, Alison Gary, author of Wardrobe Oxygen has a closet full of stupid stuff. No staples, no go-to pieces. A bunch of things that don’t fit, don’t flatter, or don’t work with her lifestyle. Today I am wearing one of my few…
Pink merino v-neck from J. Crew, coral scoop-neck longer tee from Gap, denim trousers from Gap, black city boots from Impo, two coral glass chip necklaces from a boutique at Rehoboth Beach, silver hoops and cuff bracelet. Hair was washed, air-dried and curled a bit on yesterday. Today I brushed out the bedhead, curled a…

This is the first in a series about my experience at the Forecastle Music Festival. Additional posts will be about what I carried in my bag, and the festival itself. This weekend I attended the Forecastle Music Festival in Louisville, Kentucky. The festival was over three days, we were staying in a hotel less than…

Summer is the season when you need to relax a bit. Accept the wrinkles, the sweat, the rumpled result of a day in the heat. It’s a lot easier to bear when you’re wearing breathable clothing, and clothing that is socially acceptable to be wrinkled. Hello linen, but this linen look has a bit of…
Petite large. And this baby may be thin and comfy but is it WARM! I wore it the past two days when it was a bit warmer and felt almost ill from how warm I was in it. Today switched to a lightweight red suede car coat from Target ’05 because that coat is too heavy for these 50 degree days!
The more I wear it, the more I like it. Just on cold days go forward!
Allie – I’m also a cold weather hostage who has a couple of down parkas. Jsut jazz it up with a fabulous scarf and boots, and you won’t even feel like a marshmallow! (which, btw, you don’t look like!)

You may not look like a marshmallow–but hope your new coat keeps you toasty like one 😉
Cute coral top. Have a great weekend!
