Alison 231Alison 232Off to yoga! Coral ribbed tank from Old Navy, orange scoop tee from American Apparel, black knit pants from ProSpirit, low-top Chucks.

Hair was brushed and bangs straightened with dryer and round brush.

Makeup is spots of L'Oreal True Match foundation in C3, a touch of Cargo Matte BeachBlush in Tenerife and Imju Fiberwig mascara. I know after yoga we'll be going to the grocery and Target so I didn't want to look COMPLETELY like death warmed over…

Alison 230This is my new commuter splurge – a longer coat from Lands End. It's darn cold out there! As usual, Lands End does run a bit large, but I think a size Medium coat would be skin tight. But this coat will let me wear skirts to work, it's pretty thin so I don't feel like a total marshmallow and it is reversible (though the other side just looks like the lining, not too chic). But it's super warm!

  1. Petite large. And this baby may be thin and comfy but is it WARM! I wore it the past two days when it was a bit warmer and felt almost ill from how warm I was in it. Today switched to a lightweight red suede car coat from Target ’05 because that coat is too heavy for these 50 degree days!

The more I wear it, the more I like it. Just on cold days go forward!

  2. Allie – I’m also a cold weather hostage who has a couple of down parkas. Jsut jazz it up with a fabulous scarf and boots, and you won’t even feel like a marshmallow! (which, btw, you don’t look like!)
