Product Review: Clinique Supermoisture Makeup – Good stuff! I mean, I have never been disappointed in Clinique foundations, but this one is hydrating without slipping all over, kept a natural yet finished look all day, and didn't feel heavy, smell funny, or really feel like anything was on my skin. The color blended nicely – the sample I received I didn't think would be a good match (seemed too yellow) but it blended beautifully and even in natural light there was hardly a difference between my face and neck color or texture. This would be a great winter foundation when my skin gets so dry and sensitive. I guess it's so new, it's not even on the Clinique website? Luckily I found it on Nordstrom.
Last week I got the first shot of the Pfizer vaccine and I am so thrilled. My state (Maryland) and especially my county (Prince George’s) has struggled with the vaccine rollout; I was only qualified because of my BMI (which if you follow me on Instagram, you know I find BMI to be bullsh*t) but…
I didn’t feel like a lot of makeup this morning. It was raining cats and dogs (still is) and it was dark and cold. I am working from home today, so I am in olive cropped yoga pants from Old Navy and a black tee shirt from Gap. Hair in a ponytail. It is raining out but I am cozy inside with my three dogs and sleeping baby. Emerson is passed out next to me, in her Frog Princess…
Lunch and the mall with my sister. Black and white cotton kimono-style top from H&M, white ribbed tank from J. I told this story to my mom tonight at dinner and I hadn’t heard her laugh so hard or so long in years. Thought I would share it with you readers… So for those who have breast fed, you know that the breasts can leak. For some women, it is occasional, for others… it’s a…
I agree about the Clinique Supermoisture makeup – I received a reasonable-sized sample in a local Clinique store here in New Zealand yesterday. Mine was a bit too dark – probably matched to the bronzer-touched bits on my face instead of the actual skintone, but I will be going back for a full-sized tube in a shade lighter! Great product, eh!
BTW, I love the purple dress on you, as well as the slightly darker hair colour.
You know I finally ordered those same shoes in brown and I wear them all the time. They are HIGH heels, but I feel like such a lady. And I can’t help but describe them as my croco peeptoe heels. Haha!
pretty dress!!!!
Red looks so good on you with this new haircolor! You have that pin-up girl vibe when wearing red.

Thanks so much for the foundation review – I have been looking for a new one that is hydrating. And like Katen, I love that dress!
Awww, that’s awesome Toryssa! Congrats, good prize too! 🙂
I love the red on you! I just bought a red blazer the other day… huge fan of red lately.
I entered one of the splendicity contests that you linked too, for the black orchid perfume. And I won! So exciting!
