Product Review: Clinique Supermoisture Makeup – Good stuff! I mean, I have never been disappointed in Clinique foundations, but this one is hydrating without slipping all over, kept a natural yet finished look all day, and didn't feel heavy, smell funny, or really feel like anything was on my skin. The color blended nicely – the sample I received I didn't think would be a good match (seemed too yellow) but it blended beautifully and even in natural light there was hardly a difference between my face and neck color or texture. This would be a great winter foundation when my skin gets so dry and sensitive. I guess it's so new, it's not even on the Clinique website? Luckily I found it on Nordstrom.
When researching the best fall fashion trends for grown women I saw sweater sets and knitwear in general were having a thing. I was psyched because in May I got this sweater and this skirt from M.M.LaFleur. On the first low-humidity and mild day where I had plans, I decided to style it. Below I…
Blazer: The Limited (similar) | Dress: Ann Taylor | Shoes: Fitzwell “Aurora” | Bracelet: J. Crew (similar) | Watch: Citizen c/o WatchCo I bought this dress in a rush, and I must admit after my first time wearing it I didn’t have the desire to wear it again. But that would be a big waste…
When I received this dress in my latest Gwynnie Bee box I was so excited. The dress is even more dramatic than it appeared in photos. Also the quality is stellar. No skimping on fabric, this skirt has plenty of volume but strategically placed so it doesn’t add bulk. The self belt is two strips…

Dinner in the city for my mom’s birthday. Restaurant says Men’s Attire: Jacket Required. This is a popular place for politicians and proposals, we as a family felt we should dress the part. I agree about the Clinique Supermoisture makeup – I received a reasonable-sized sample in a local Clinique store here in New Zealand yesterday. Mine was a bit too dark – probably matched to the bronzer-touched bits on my face instead of the actual skintone, but I will be going back for a full-sized tube in a shade lighter! Great product, eh!
BTW, I love the purple dress on you, as well as the slightly darker hair colour.
You know I finally ordered those same shoes in brown and I wear them all the time. They are HIGH heels, but I feel like such a lady. And I can’t help but describe them as my croco peeptoe heels. Haha!
pretty dress!!!!
Red looks so good on you with this new haircolor! You have that pin-up girl vibe when wearing red.

Thanks so much for the foundation review – I have been looking for a new one that is hydrating. And like Katen, I love that dress!
Awww, that’s awesome Toryssa! Congrats, good prize too! 🙂
I love the red on you! I just bought a red blazer the other day… huge fan of red lately.
I entered one of the splendicity contests that you linked too, for the black orchid perfume. And I won! So exciting!
