Saturday started with yoga, then checking out new dining tables at various retailers. Nothing exciting- black yoga pants from ProSpirit, teal scoop tee from Gap, New Balance trainers and a coat. Usually don’t go out in public in workout clothes (big personal no-no) but we were strapped for time. Dashed home still sans a dining…
Dress: c/o Gwynnie Bee | Belt: Bought at a Yard Sale in High School (similar) | Tights: Nordstrom | Shoes: Miss Sixty (similar) When this dress arrived in my latest Gwynnie Bee box, I couldn’t believe the tag said Coldwater Creek. One of the coolest parts of being a member of Gwynnie Bee is that…
Time flies when you’re busy AF! And that is how June was. Our daughter graduated from 8th grade and is heading to high school next year. We had dances, ceremonies, celebrations, and all sorts of other events. It was our 19th wedding anniversary at the beginning of the month, and after all the celebrations, we…
This post is sponsored by cabi. I’m such a fan of cabi clothing; they do such a good job of making clothes that flatter a variety of figures and a variety of lifestyles. I was invited to try some pieces from cabi’s latest collection, Elegancia, and I found them perfect for vacation. Trench: Tanner Trench…
When you read this I will already be in Nashville for cabi’s conference known as The Scoop. Taking place at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Conference Center, this event brings together thousands of cabi stylists from around the globe. I’m honored cabi invited me to attend Scoop; stay tuned on social media where I’ll be…
Back to work! Teal knit dress from Proenza Shouler for Target, leopard peep toe heels from BCBGirls, gold hoops and bangle bracelets from The Icing. Hair was only conditioned, then added a bit of Nexxus Texxtur and allowed to air dry 50% and then blow dry the rest. Straightened out pieces, curled a few pieces…
Looking beautiful birthday girl !
Thank you!
I love that when you dress up for an occasion, you do it up! You probably looked like someone famous all ready for a night on the town! A maxi dress always makes for a glam look, but I too would have never considered it for a winter event. But, now that you mention all the layers of warmth you can hide underneath, then absolutely, I’d consider it. Looks like you two had a great romantic weekend. Much love to you both.
Aww thank you Sonia!! Hope you are healing nicely!
I LOVE the stole
Thanks Meghan!
Gorgeous outfit, and your makeup looks extra amazing in these photos.
Thank you so much!
Gorgeous!
Thanks!
Girl that outfit is smokin’ hot. I love that dress. How I missed this website, I do not know. is this a site you recommend?
eShakti? I’ve had mixed experiences with them. I think if I ordered with measurements instead of sizing I’d be happier. I recommend reading the comments in this post as many readers have bought from them and have amazing suggestions: http://www.wardrobeoxygen.com/2016/12/eshakti-review.html
The green stole is a knockout with your dress!
Thank you!

Thanks Liv!
You are a beautiful butterfly, Allie!! What a perfect description!!
It’s funny, because I don’t see as many maxis in the winter, so the 3 of us just did a series on them. It’s nice to see you wear yours too!!

I love maxis in winter, you can hide tall boots, wool socks, longjohns and more!
