The Isabel Dress is one of those versatile pieces that can dress up for a daytime wedding, work with a cardigan or soft jacket for the office, or dress down with sandals and a denim jacket. For brunch while on vacation, I found it perfect styled with nude pumps and the cabi Tanner Trench. This trench is perfect for travel as it has a silhouette that looks great buttoned and cinched or left open with the belt knotted in back. I wore it with the dress, but also threw it on over a Breton top and jeans one day when the temps dropped.
I love cabi jewelry; it's high quality and always has a little something that makes it stand out. These dangly earrings are full of sparkle and whimsy, but don't overwhelm an ensemble. I've been wearing them quite a lot since I received them from cabi and they always garner compliments.
This shirt dress is going to be a favorite all spring and summer long. Smartly designed, the lining is attached along seams so it is opaque and not clingy. The fit is flattering and comfortable, side slits to easily walk. And hello machine washable!
I paired it with the Dakota Jacket (it has a detachable lace trim I removed for this look), but this is the kind of dress that can be transformed with a chain belt, a wide leather belt, styled with a long cardigan or even a white blazer. And to add some shine and interest, the Starfish Medallion Necklace is perfect. I wore this necklace also with a striped top and jeans and a solid-colored t-shirt dress and sneakers.
For more ideas on how to style cabi's spring collection including Elegancia, check out their Looks page where cabi features looks by occasion. On top of this, cabi recently launched their new mobile app, cabi Tap! Once you download the app, you’ll be matched with a local cabi Stylist and will be able to shop right away right from the app. Plus, everything you buy will be saved in the app’s virtual cabi closet, so you can mix & match cabi’s new Collections with the pieces you already own. I think this is awesome and a great choice for those of you who have wanted to try cabi but didn't want to attend a Fashion Experience in someone's home. Thanks to cabi for sharing your spring collection with me so I can share it with all of you!

This season I’m really feeling the look of a fitted top with a high waist full or flared pant or skirt. I’m short waisted so I have avoided high waisted pants in the past… but now that I’m over 40 I care less about traditional figure flattery and more about having a great time getting…
If someone were to draw a caricature of me, it very well may be wearing this outfit or a variation of it. Blazer, band tee, jeans, and my Rebecca Minkoff leopard calfhair Mini M.A.C. purse. This purse wasn’t cheap, but it’s everything I love. Bold silver hardware, leopard calfhair, black leather… even the feet on…
Teal scoop tee from Gap, black ponte cropped jacket from Banana Republic Outlet, dark “The Flirt” bootcut jeans from Old Navy, black booties from Sudini (yes they are new – had to replace the Impo ones I broke), silver necklaces – pendant from B.P. for Nordstrom, chain from Renaissance Festival, silver cuff. Last night got…
I shared in a recent Friday Shop post that I had dreams of being a “21st Century Mrs. Roper” but didn’t like how I looked or felt in caftans. While the whole internet seems to be in love with the concept of a nap dress, I’ve been gravitating towards elevated athleisure. But with a recent…
Jacket: Banana Republic Outlet (years old – similar) | Top: c/o Gwynnie Bee | Jeans: c/o Liverpool Jeans Company | Boots: DUO (similar) | Bracelets: Ann Taylor This is almost what I planned on wearing to work on Monday. Though I felt sick, I tried to rally, got dressed, but was too muddled in the…
Every one of these outfits is so chic! I especially love the business-like trench coat plus the knee-length leafy dress — one all sharp edges, the other all floaty delicate pretty colour.
Hello! A month after your original post, I am wondering what size you wore in the Tanner? Love your insta and blog!
Never mind! (Forehead smack). I see you have sizes listed. Doh! 😉
