My friends and I have a bit of a joke where we're #teamblackponte on social media. Come now, it's the world's best fabric! Well I'm not exclusive with #teamblackponte for I like me some ponte in any color, like this heather gray blazer from Old Navy. While I look pulled together, I feel as though I'm wearing a hoodie.

I always love finding ways to style my dad's ascots, you can see how I styled this one before here, the red one here and here, and the blue one here.  Though he's no longer with us, I can bet he loves the fact that I am wearing these and putting my own spin on them!

  1. Yes! Love the ponte blazer! 🙂 I looove ponte and am in need of a new black blazer – mine is getting all misshapen – and I’m for sure going to be replacing it with a ponte one!

  2. I have almost that exact outfit in my wardrobe right now Allie! You’ve inspired me to pick up a bright bag before the Aussie winter hits so I can dress up my lovely neutrals, just like you have 🙂 Particularly like the extra colour hit from the scarft.

  3. Oh what a great blazer – I cannot believe there’s so much snow on the ground! I am going to be in DC in a few weeks and don’t even want to think about the cold.

  4. You look fabulous in that first shot–kind of reminds me of 40s pin-up look with your hair, clear skin and red lipstick! Congrats on finding another way to wear your dad’s scarf. As a former daddy’s girl, I can fully appreciate your sentiment. Also, I agree with you that ponte rules!
