Yesterday when we went to Banana Republic, I immediately dashed to the sale section searching their dresses. I have had TONS of luck with Banana's dress line this season. I found this very dress in my size on the rack, discounted about 40% and grabbed it. I thought it could be a good “just in case” purchase. I got into the fitting room and was ready to try it on and stopped. Yes, buying in bulk can be great for that perfect camisole, work trousers or fitted tee. However to have two of the same dress in the same exact color?

I put it on the rack outside the fitting room and another woman immediately scooped it up while waiting in line. “I saw you grab that off the rack and was so upset,” she said to me. “I love this dress!”

I told the woman how I already own it in that color AND black and get weekly wear out of it. Told her how I have layered it with a thermal top and how I think it would look great with a tissue-weight turtleneck and how it works with heels or boots easily. It was so fun to share with this stranger; I hope she gets as much wear and fun out of the dress as I do!
