Sorry, sorta blurry pics taken in haste.
Navy cotton stretchy v-neck sweater from Banana Republic, teal scoop tee from Gap, purple faux pashmina from Burlington Coat Factory (found in closet, bought years ago for a certain dress I no longer own, but still own the purple strappy heels with silk rosettes on the toe), dark denim skirt from Gap, tan Bern boots from Duo, solitaire necklace and studs from Nexus Diamond Labs, silver cuff.
Hair is second day and just unhappy. Straightened the bangs and brushed it and twired it some and gave up. Right now at 3pm it is in an elasticf piled on top of my head. Hey Kathleen, I am in major need of a trim! Will be calling Bananas this week!
Makeup is L'Oreal True Match concealer in W4-5, philosophy The Supernatural in Beige, Nars blush in Orgasm, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis – ivory in inner corners, khaki on lid. Lahses curled, two coats DiorShow in black, Maybelline UltraLiner in black on top lash line and Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss in Glossy Rose.
Not much exciting this weekend – lots of picture taking with my photographer husband. On Saturday I wore my Flirt jeans and city boots with a whie scoop tee from Gap and a white hoodie from Neighborhoodies with my town's name on the front (thanks Sis, a very cool Christmas gift and great for town events!). Sunday I wore my red Maggy London dress, black flats from Naturalizer.
You know, I am not sure if they are hot around here – I have always liked them, been wearing pashminas since Oprah raved about them eons ago. I am on my third real cashmere pashmina since then and have a few random scarves and fakes floating around in my closet – they need to see the light of day more often! 🙂
La Belette Rouge says
You have major scarf confidence. You wear your scarf like a Parisian. Are scarves big in D.C.? It is 49 degrees in my neck of the woods and people are still wearing flip-flops.
Love you rockin the pashminas! And I see you flaunting your denim skirt in a so-not-cowgirly way. Way to prove the naysayers wrong!
