Long sleeved teeRubbish (FYI this shirt is great but runs small yet stretches.  I got an XL which this AM was a second skin but now is quite comfy yet still giving a nice trim look.  It runs long in the torso too)
Knit motorcycle jacket – Gap (Can't find online but saw it in stores in gray and black as recently as this past Tuesday)
Metallic scarf – Ann Taylor (shawl I have had for many years)
Jeans – Seven
Gray shoes – Miz Mooz

It was cold this morning, but now it's in the '60s in DC!

Hair washed, conditioned, started drying on its own as I did morning chores and such.  So I just took big sections and put in the curling iron for a couple seconds and finger-combed out.  A bit of Elnettir?t=whaevewomneei 20&l=btl&camp=213689&creative=392969&o=1&a=B001DITLI0 to keep it full.

Everyone, have a wonderful weekend! Tomorrow I have a friend's son's birthday and then going to see Tokio Police Club and The New Pornographers in concert. Sunday? I plan to sleep until my body wakes me up and then head to the local farmer's market so Emerson can pick out a pumpkin.

  1. You are very welcome. I have found your blog very informative. I enjoy both blogs very much. I used to live in DC so I enjoy your Metro stories. Seems like things haven’t changed much. I miss DC so much. Would move back there in a heartbeat if I could. By the way, I ordered the boots that you recommended from Bandolino. Piperlime had them on sale. I can’t wait until they get here. I am in serious need of a good riding boot. Have a great week. 🙂

  2. I started reading your blog a couple of months ago. I loved that you like Banana Republic & J Crew but I have also enjoyed the human side of your blog. You have a gorgeous family & it has been great to go back & follow your journey. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂
