How was everyone's weekend? Ours was pretty fun. After work on Friday, we dropped Emerson off at my mom's and went to a local restaurant/sports bar for a couple beers and some steamed shrimp. We grew up near this bar and it's always fun to go and see folks from our past. After we came home and walked to our neighbor's party, which was a blast.
Saturday morning my husband was teaching; I took Emerson to our neighborhood sand volleyball court which was being used as a sandbox for the local parenting group. Must have been at least 15 local families there; the kids had a blast playing in the sand and the weather was perfect. We then met my husband at the local cafe for a light lunch. The rest of the day was spent prepping for Bonnaroo – getting camping equipment from the attic, organizing what we're taking, and of course trying on what I will be wearing once there!
Yesterday was our official wedding anniversary and we played it low-key. Headed to the community farmers market where we got iced coffees and crepes and enjoyed them in the town center. We then went to the local cafe where there was a jazz singer. Emerson danced and enjoyed the music while we had a drink and chilled with neighbors. We then went home so E could nap, we could continue prepping for Bonnaroo. My sister came over that evening and we grilled seafood and had a nice salad and a bottle of champagne to celebrate seven years.

I love those shoes. I have two pair of flat leopard print, but I wish I had a pair with a kitten heel. Something to add to the wish list!

A pointy pumps is the most flattering shoe on me by far. So hard to find pairs that look cute and are wearable all day! Wish I bought two of these!
