Saturday there was a festival in town – music, food, booths, fun. My husband went early to take pictures, I came with Emerson after her nap. No pics of my outfit, but here's one of me and Emerson:
Navy scoop tee– Banana Republic (no longer available)
Leaf print skirt – Talbots “Garden Print Full Skirt”
Brown flip flops – J. Crew (no longer available)
Earrings – Made myself
Sunglasses – Ray-Ban (no longer available – similar)
(and by the way, Emerson's Led Zeppelin tee came from Etsy seller ChiTown Boutique)
It was a really fun day with the family. Emerson doesn't know or understand Mother's Day so Saturday was my day to enjoy her, and she me.
Black blazer – Limited (no longer available)
Tank – Banana Republic (no longer available)
Skirt – Ann Taylor
Boots – Miss Sixty “Jaiden”
Black crossbody purse – Mulberry for Target (no longer available)
Bracelet – Anthropologie via eBay
Gold “A” pin – Belonged to my cousin Amy (she painted us work inspired by Gauguin for our wedding gift; I felt it appropriate to wear her pin to the exhibit)
Another wonderful day. The three of us had a great time. We ordered a bottle of champagne with breakfast (which confused the waiter – guess not everyone drinks at 9:30am!), leisurely strolled through the Gauguin exhibit, then all the gift shops, through to the West Wing where we saw the Chester Dale collection.
