Saturday there was a festival in town – music, food, booths, fun. My husband went early to take pictures, I came with Emerson after her nap. No pics of my outfit, but here's one of me and Emerson:

Brown flip flops – J. Crew (no longer available)
Earrings – Made myself
Sunglasses – Ray-Ban (no longer available – similar)
Silver cuff
(and by the way, Emerson's Led Zeppelin tee came from Etsy seller ChiTown Boutique)

It was a really fun day with the family.  Emerson doesn't know or understand Mother's Day so Saturday was my day to enjoy her, and she me.

On Sunday, we celebrated MY mom.  My mom, sister, and I went to Bistro Bis for breakfast, then the National Gallery of Art to see the Gauguin exhibit.

Bracelet – Anthropologie via eBay
Gold “A” pin – Belonged to my cousin Amy (she painted us work inspired by Gauguin for our wedding gift; I felt it appropriate to wear her pin to the exhibit)

Another wonderful day.  The three of us had a great time.  We ordered a bottle of champagne with breakfast (which confused the waiter – guess not everyone drinks at 9:30am!), leisurely strolled through the Gauguin exhibit, then all the gift shops, through to the West Wing where we saw the Chester Dale collection
