Today I didn't feel like being buttoned up and sucked in. Today is a cardigan sort of day. I just got this one from LOFT and I like how the collar is detachable so I can actually wash it. This will be a weekend staple with jeans and tanks, but today I decided to feel as comfy as a weekend with some luxe additions.
My mom will be meeting me in a bit to have lunch with me in the city – always love being able to show off my loved ones to my coworkers!

I did say don’t wear all black? Oh I break that rule all the time! Still wearing the cardi & tee right now but with black yoga pants & a ponytail. If there is texture or accessories to break it up, black is quite chic!

Oooo! I do so love this look! I have a sweater, a down vest and a knit top all with acrylic fur necklines. The necklace adds some “pop” to the outfit. I know you have suggested that one should not wear all black, but I living in the NYC area, I find an all black outfit with just a touch of color so very sophisticated. My dear, you look marvelous!
Sweater twins! I’m wearing the same LOFT sweater (from the Georgetown store opening right?) today, but I removed the fur! Love the way you layered the fur over your coat too!
