I did leave the house this weekend… but never ended up capturing a photo (though added a very blurry photo of me on Saturday).

Friday night I was supposed to go to a friend's party but I didn't get home from work until almost 8pm so I went straight into Baby Bedtime mode and was too exhausted to do anything afterwards.

birthday

Saturday we went to a relative's son's first birthday party, and then that night we went out to dinner with friends. After dinner everyone hung out at our house.

For the birthday party I wore my black pants from New York & Company and a bright blue top from Banana Republic, silver jewelery and my black patent heels from Sofft – have learned to wear pants at kiddie parties so I can get on the floor with Emerson. When I got home I switched to my purple print jersey dress from Muse because it's more comfy and I did end up with kiddie mess (cake, etc.) on my pants.

Here's a blurry picture of me with Emerson at the birthday party…

Sunday, we went to my sister's house for a late lunch. Very very casual day so just wore a hot pink long-sleeved scoop tee from Old Navy with a pair of olive chino shorts from Gap and my New Balances.  We walked to her house and then took a nice walk around town on the way home.

So on to the work week!

I didn't capture a picture of my face before I left work because I was in a super-duper rush and hair was not dry until I got to work. So this picture was JUST taken before posting, and as usual I am with headset, listening to a Webinar!  Sorry for the lighting, the room is SUPER bright and my blinds are currently broken and can't close.

Hair is my new product combo that I am liking – it is a dollop of Frederic Fekkai's Glossing Curls and a smaller dollop of Bumble and bumble. Styling Creme.  Emulsify together, scrunch into damp hair working from the back forward.  Let air dry.

Makeup is Estee Lauder Nutritious foundation in Intensity 3.0, Nars blush in Orgasm, Burt's Bees tinted lip balm in Fig, Revlon Colorstay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis, Maybelline UltraLiner in Black, Cover Girl LashBlast mascara in Rich Black.

Feeling cute today – a stranger told me she wanted my hair, and a gentleman in Starbucks told me I was looking lovely today.  Happy Monday!
