So I had to wake up at the crack of dawn to get my Mom to the airport – she is going to her high school reunion in New England and then a short trip with high school girlfriends afterwards. Woke up around… 4am? I am an early riser but not THAT early so I wasn't functioning to the best of my ability and forgot to take my picture before I left. The body picture is at my Mom's house, the face picture is me in my cube (hard to do without people noticing so I apologize for the blurriness and all over bad pic, but hopefully you can see my haircut a bit better).

Black stretch cotton v-neck sweater from Banana Republic, ivory wool crepe cuffed trousers from Ann Taylor, solitaire necklace and studs from Nexus Diamond Labs, black croco peeptoe heels from BCBGirls, silver cuff.

Hair was washed and conditioned the night before, no product and air-dried. Woke up with a very weird puffy/bendy look and my old method of straightening while dry with the round brush made my layers turn into the dreaded “Rachel” cut with poofy bangs. So I hit a few pieces with my curling iron to give more shape and less of a “perfect” blow-out, and used some BioSilk on it, twisting around pieces for smoothness and separation. Not loving it today, but it's my styling method, not the cut. Will have to play more.

  1. I wear a size Large at BR. Come now Sherri – I have this blog, not much is left to be personal! 🙂 But thank you so much for worrying about it!

    Love you guys!

  2. I meant to add that you look thinner here too. If you don’t mind me asking (just ignore me if it’s too personal) what size sweater do you purchase from BR? I want to order online and can’t decide between L and XL. Thanks.
