  1. I think the sandals would look good with pants, maybe a pair of white jeans or something. That style is hard to wear even on my skinny bird legs, with the way the strap dissects the ankles. Enjoy your time off!

  2. soso cute! and I like the sandals, fyi, as I said before. great colors, fab scarf. come by Little Miss Blackwell sometime! would love to see you around the place & hear your feedback.

  3. Love the outfit – very festive, which probably relfects the excitement you must feel leading up to your vacation. Have fun at Bonaroo! (sp?) – Britta

  4. I totally disagree with the sandal comment – I love the gold ones here SO much more than the black flip flops. The thing is, I’m curvy too and it’s difficult (I think) to wear shoes with straps around the ankles – unless they are somewhat neutral (and I see the gold ones as neutral). If they aren’t neutral, it just chops you off at the ankles and THAT is not great for rubenesque women. We want to elongate the legs – right?

Allie, love the sandals and the makeup today is also especially lovely.

  5. Oh, yeah, the rotten apples! I have had one of those myself recently. I love your blog and always look forward to see what you are wearing each day!

    Lesli (not a rotten apple!)

  6. I’m loving the bright colors! From the knees up, you look fabulouso! Though honestly, those sandals do “nada-thing” for your curvy legs. I can say that without being catty ’cause mine are just as “curvalicious”! 😉 Knees down reminds me of Fred Flintstone or something. Sheesh, did I just type that? Sorry. I don’t expect you to publish this comment, I’m just trying to be honest like I would for a true friend. Hope you have a great trip!
    …and lose the sandals,lol. 🙂
