I love the varsity and bomber jacket trends this fall but don't know if I want to invest in a jacket that is such a definite trend.  Gwynnie Bee to the rescue with this adorable hooded bomber varsity jacket from City Chic.  I know it's a C on the front for the brand, but if you squint doesn't it look like a G for Gary? I took this jacket this weekend for a getaway to Asheville, North Carolina (stay tuned for a recap) and it was the perfect weight to throw over a Breton tee and jeans for sight seeing and was a cozy layer for sitting on the patio of our B&B looking at the stars.  With this DC weather being warm one day, cool the other, the jacket has been fantastic.  I started the day with this skirt and a short-sleeved tee but as the sun started to set switched the top for a look that is casual, comfortable, but not boring.  If you'd like to try Gwynnie Bee, use my referral link and try it out for 30 days for free!

  1. I didn’t think it was a brand logo. I thought it was the first letter of your university. You could tell people that you went to Columbia or Cornell and no one would be the wiser.

  2. Or you can be like me and pull out your 45-year-old leather/wool varsity jacket from high school. 🙂 i bought a quilted black/white varsity jacket at Old Navy a couple years ago and wear it a lot, mostly in the way you’ve styled the look above. I find it fun.
