I am so happy to see that Nordstrom is constantly expanding and improving their plus size selection.  Their Plus Size Shop has a selection of clothes for work, play, evenings, as well as lingerie and activewear.  They carry great brands like Persona by Marina Rinaldi, Eileen Fisher, MYNT 1792Vince Camuto, NIC + Zoe, and Melissa McCarthy Seven7. I was psyched when they reached out asking me to create an outfit incorporating clothing from their current plus size collection; it means they want to attract a plus size audience and hopefully will be dedicating even more real estate in the future to extended sizes.

Denim is hot this fall, and I loved the idea of this jumper now with a fitted tee and when the temps drop, with a black turtleneck and boots.  Come summer this could be a cute sundress.  The straps are adjustable with the working buttons; the front zipper is functional, and the denim is a good weight with plenty of stretch. I wore this for about 10 hours straight the day of this shoot and it didn't stretch out or bag.  I love that the pockets are so big I didn't have to carry a bag. I went to an event in the evening and in my pockets was my ID, money, phone, and lipstick!

  1. This is super cute! I got a 70s style jumpsuit a few months back and I love it with stripes so this look is right in my wheelhouse. Is the striped top cropped or you just tucked it in all the way down? My only worry with wearing it with a turtleneck would be getting odd lumps and bumps around the waist from the heavier fabric…

  2. You look fabulous in that outfit. It’s stylish and sexy and you look so confident, like you own that look. Love it!
