Gosh it feels good to have a haircut! Keep in mind I couldn’t wash it today so I am working with the style that I received yesterday after a night of tossing and turning. All I did was use a round brush and dryer to smooth out the bangs and a bit of Jonathan Dirt…
Friday night Karl and I attended the Butterfly Bash, a gala to raise funds for Fair Chance DC. Proceeds from the event allow Fair Chance to strengthen the sustainability and performance of community-based nonprofits to achieve life-changing results for children and youth living in poverty. Since 2002, Fair Chance has engaged more than 100 nonprofits…
I forgot to charge the camera, and my husband thought it would be funny to take a picture from an even HIGHER height than before. Har har. Well the battery is charging now so better pictures will be happening in the near future! Navy pima scoop tee from Banana Republic, berry colored cashmere blend cardigan…
My best friend just shared her pictures from the baby shower I attended a couple weeks ago. This was my first time wearing my Lands End Canvas oxford shirt, and I was feeling very creative with my oversized H&M scarf so I just had to share, even though it’s delayed! Blue oxford – Lands End…

Looking beautiful birthday girl !
Thank you!
I love that when you dress up for an occasion, you do it up! You probably looked like someone famous all ready for a night on the town! A maxi dress always makes for a glam look, but I too would have never considered it for a winter event. But, now that you mention all the layers of warmth you can hide underneath, then absolutely, I’d consider it. Looks like you two had a great romantic weekend. Much love to you both.
Aww thank you Sonia!! Hope you are healing nicely!
I LOVE the stole
Thanks Meghan!
Gorgeous outfit, and your makeup looks extra amazing in these photos.
Thank you so much!
Gorgeous!
Thanks!
Girl that outfit is smokin’ hot. I love that dress. How I missed this website, I do not know. is this a site you recommend?
eShakti? I’ve had mixed experiences with them. I think if I ordered with measurements instead of sizing I’d be happier. I recommend reading the comments in this post as many readers have bought from them and have amazing suggestions: http://www.wardrobeoxygen.com/2016/12/eshakti-review.html
The green stole is a knockout with your dress!
Thank you!
Stunning!

Thanks Liv!
You are a beautiful butterfly, Allie!! What a perfect description!!
It’s funny, because I don’t see as many maxis in the winter, so the 3 of us just did a series on them. It’s nice to see you wear yours too!!

I love maxis in winter, you can hide tall boots, wool socks, longjohns and more!
