Shirt: Ann Taylor | Jeans: Gap | Bracelets: c/o lifetherapy | Sunglasses: Gucci | Flats: c/o ECCO | Necklace: Etsy Bad hair, don’t care! This is Day 2 and I used some dry shampoo and it gave it the body and the non-greasy look I desired, but the ends looked super scraggly and I didn’t…

Another day where my Ann Taylor cardigan is a must-have! I wrapped an ivory pashmina around my neck on the commute in; once I got to the office I removed both the scarf and the cardigan. Another hectic morning where there wasn’t much time to get creative. Gotta love really simple wardrobe pieces and a…
This time of year, the sun hitsvery brightly in my spare room, making it hard to capture a full-length picture. This is the best I could get out of five tries. Black cashmere crewneck sweater from Isaac Mizrahi for Target, gap ribbed tank in black underneath for opacity. Dark denim skirt from Gap – now…
Ivory lace shirt from Banana Republic Outlet, ivory cami from New York & Company, dark “The Flirt” bootcut jeans from Old Navy, black booties from Sudini (though in the picture I am wearing my brown Nine West boots but changed my mind before I left the house, short pearl necklace from Monet, long pearl necklace…

Looking beautiful birthday girl !
Thank you!
I love that when you dress up for an occasion, you do it up! You probably looked like someone famous all ready for a night on the town! A maxi dress always makes for a glam look, but I too would have never considered it for a winter event. But, now that you mention all the layers of warmth you can hide underneath, then absolutely, I’d consider it. Looks like you two had a great romantic weekend. Much love to you both.
Aww thank you Sonia!! Hope you are healing nicely!
I LOVE the stole
Thanks Meghan!
Gorgeous outfit, and your makeup looks extra amazing in these photos.
Thank you so much!
Gorgeous!
Thanks!
Girl that outfit is smokin’ hot. I love that dress. How I missed this website, I do not know. is this a site you recommend?
eShakti? I’ve had mixed experiences with them. I think if I ordered with measurements instead of sizing I’d be happier. I recommend reading the comments in this post as many readers have bought from them and have amazing suggestions: http://www.wardrobeoxygen.com/2016/12/eshakti-review.html
The green stole is a knockout with your dress!
Thank you!

Thanks Liv!
You are a beautiful butterfly, Allie!! What a perfect description!!
It’s funny, because I don’t see as many maxis in the winter, so the 3 of us just did a series on them. It’s nice to see you wear yours too!!

I love maxis in winter, you can hide tall boots, wool socks, longjohns and more!
