I got this jacket in my Gwynnie Bee box about a month ago and this is the fourth time I've worn it. I wore it to work with a black crepe v-neck shell and slim pants and over a black ponte fitted dress. And I've worn it on the weekend like this. I know I say this often, but jackets like this is why I love Gwynnie Bee. It's a trendy piece that if I bought would likely cost at least $50. And likely by September I'd be mega over this trend or this print and wish I never bought it. With Gwynnie Bee for less than the cost of buying this jacket I can rent this and other pieces, keep as long as I want, return for free and get another item in its place.

In sad news, the pants I'm wearing in this shoot, the pants I bought at Ann Taylor a kazillion years ago and have babied like heck because I have never found a worthy equivalent… the knee seam busted later this day. I think I'm going to take them to my tailor to see if he can repair them because I'm just not ready to let them go. They're looser than leggings, the ponte is pretty heavyweight, there's an actual fly and back pockets so they look more like pants. World, if there's a replacement out there that comes in a 14 petite please let me know, I'll buy multiples. Heck I may buy stock in the company!

  1. I remember having a jacket very similar to this one in the 80s and I loved it! I always wore mine with a plain tshirt and jeans. This is a much more creative matching, and it looks great.

  2. A super-cute look. The bomber style keeps the floral from being too sweet. Plus, your styling is on point – the earrings are an inspired touch!
