Friday through Monday
Happy Presidents Day everyone! My company doesn't have the day off, but I took it off because I had a lot of errands I needed to accomplish before 6pm. So I will be busy today!
Friday I finally got back into the office.

I can’t think of anything better to wear to stay cool in the summer heat than linen and mesh. However, such fabrics can look sloppy, and are also known for being transparent. This look I wore for an outdoor socially distant event. It was a hot evening in July and I was comfortable the whole… Continue Reading Staying Cool in the Summer Heat
The merino shift from Banana Republic with black ballet flats from Target (THIS is why I state on my other blog that ballet flats are NOT a wardrobe staple for all women. How unattractive are they? Ack!), same silver hoops and cuff. Hair was straightened while dry with dryer and round brush. Makeup – just… Continue Reading Friday Night: Sep 17, 2007

Now that the cast is off and the swelling has gone down, I can finally get into the spring fashion spirit! Here’s a few things I have recently purchased and like very much: 1. Well all know my adoration for stripes; when I saw this shirt at J. Crew Factory was only $21 I had… Continue Reading Spring Wardrobe Additions
Love the sweater. Your hair looks great too! You have me thinking of ordering a pair of duo boots.
Alli, you are always too cute!
I have a present for you on my blog!
Looking good, Allie! Love this outfit.
Thanks, Allie. Tried them out on the snow and ice here and took them to the cobbler’s for treaded soles. Now they are perfect for winter weather!
This is great look! You look great rocking the boots over jeans look!
love the browns and pretty gold jewelry here.
Nope they don’t have the best tread on them, but I waterproofed them and they have a better sole than most of my other shoes (and I think equal to sneakers) so they have become my winter go-to boots.
Hope you are enjoying your day off, Allie. How did your duo boots do in the snow? I ask as I just got a pair of Bern in black and am a bit hesitant to walk on the snow and ice in them since they don’t have a deep profile on the soles.
Thanks for any tips!
LOVE that sweater on you!! And you are rocking those jeans. Glad to see you have been surviving the DC snow.
Oh dear! I wear my yoga pants and ribbed tanks and cardigans out to do errands. I do I do. Bad girl.
I love your blog and seeing your outfits.
