Friday through Monday
Happy Presidents Day everyone! My company doesn't have the day off, but I took it off because I had a lot of errands I needed to accomplish before 6pm. So I will be busy today!
Friday I finally got back into the office.

The last pic was me saying, “I’m going to get you!” when he wouldn’t stop shooting and got pics of me yawning, fixing my hair, flicking away a mosquito… Crocheted sweater – Ann Taylor Tank – Calson (no longer available – similar) Cutoffs – Old Navy Tan sandals (not pictured) – Lands End Canvas My…
I haven’t shared what I wore recently in a while. It has been a tough few weeks. I had a major video project for a popular streaming service that finished up at the end of February. We’re in the last days of the Girl Scout cookie season and as Troop Cookie Manager for a troop…
This was a year where I was finding myself again. I turned 40, I was coming back from a tough year with health and personal issues, and my body changes faster than the seasons. However, I do feel I found my groove again and redefined my personal style. Some of my favorite outfits from 2015…
You all saw these overalls on the blog when I wore them to the Families Belong Together rally and march in DC the other weekend. If you know me in real life you know I wear these overalls on a pretty regular basis. After a day of running around town, accomplishing tasks and completing errands Karl…
I may have relaxed my personal style this year, but I don’t like to look schlubby. I often find I am wearing leggings or joggers and a tee and need to head out and just feel too casual… too close to sleepwear. I’ve put on a denim jacket and it helps, but when doing another…

Love the sweater. Your hair looks great too! You have me thinking of ordering a pair of duo boots.
Alli, you are always too cute!
I have a present for you on my blog!
Looking good, Allie! Love this outfit.
Thanks, Allie. Tried them out on the snow and ice here and took them to the cobbler’s for treaded soles. Now they are perfect for winter weather!
This is great look! You look great rocking the boots over jeans look!
love the browns and pretty gold jewelry here.
Nope they don’t have the best tread on them, but I waterproofed them and they have a better sole than most of my other shoes (and I think equal to sneakers) so they have become my winter go-to boots.
Hope you are enjoying your day off, Allie. How did your duo boots do in the snow? I ask as I just got a pair of Bern in black and am a bit hesitant to walk on the snow and ice in them since they don’t have a deep profile on the soles.
Thanks for any tips!
LOVE that sweater on you!! And you are rocking those jeans. Glad to see you have been surviving the DC snow.
Oh dear! I wear my yoga pants and ribbed tanks and cardigans out to do errands. I do I do. Bad girl.
I love your blog and seeing your outfits.
