Friday through Monday
Happy Presidents Day everyone! My company doesn't have the day off, but I took it off because I had a lot of errands I needed to accomplish before 6pm. So I will be busy today!
Friday I finally got back into the office.

Recently CAbi had a contest where you could enter to be a “Real Model” for them. For those not familiar with CAbi Clothing, at the back of their catalog they have non-models featured wearing their fashions. Often it has been Consultants for the brand, but this spring they decided to feature customers with their consultant….
I guess I went to far. I still haven’t gotten around to picking up my three fitting pairs of trousers from the dry cleaners. Yesterday after work I took off my boots and was in the kitchen cutting vegetables for the salad. “You’re shrinking!” my husband called to me from the living room. I looked…
Dress: Gap Cardigan: LOFT (similar) Boots: Fitzwell Necklace: Gift Bag: Sabina (similar) I was tempted to title this post DONT CURR; today is that kind of day. Instead the theme to The Facts of Life played in my head – you take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you…
J.Jill reached out and asked if I’d like to try their linen collection. Since adding more linen to my wardrobe as seen in this blog post, I was game. I also know that many of you love J.Jill and recommend it regularly in comments on this blog and in the Wardrobe Oxygen Community. I appreciate…
Casual Friday work, then happy hour at a Mexican restaurant afterwards with friends from college. White shirt from Ann Taylor, blue-black Long and Lean jeans from Gap, black boots from Enzo, silver cuff and large silver hoops. Hair is second-day dirty, used a bit of Suave Professionals root lifter and blew pieces with round brush…

Love the sweater. Your hair looks great too! You have me thinking of ordering a pair of duo boots.
Alli, you are always too cute!
I have a present for you on my blog!
Looking good, Allie! Love this outfit.
Thanks, Allie. Tried them out on the snow and ice here and took them to the cobbler’s for treaded soles. Now they are perfect for winter weather!
This is great look! You look great rocking the boots over jeans look!
love the browns and pretty gold jewelry here.
Nope they don’t have the best tread on them, but I waterproofed them and they have a better sole than most of my other shoes (and I think equal to sneakers) so they have become my winter go-to boots.
Hope you are enjoying your day off, Allie. How did your duo boots do in the snow? I ask as I just got a pair of Bern in black and am a bit hesitant to walk on the snow and ice in them since they don’t have a deep profile on the soles.
Thanks for any tips!
LOVE that sweater on you!! And you are rocking those jeans. Glad to see you have been surviving the DC snow.
Oh dear! I wear my yoga pants and ribbed tanks and cardigans out to do errands. I do I do. Bad girl.
I love your blog and seeing your outfits.
