I first went to see a Broadway musical when I was in 4th grade. My dad’s friend came to visit from NYC and took us to see La Cage aux Folles at the National Theatre in DC. I was hooked, and looked forward to any time in any city to see a musical. So when…

We’re having a couple more crazy weeks at my job. Vacations, family circumstances that have had people out of the office and clients hoping to get the world created in a day. On top of that, there’s still weddings and showers to shoot and attend, family situations and babies who are learning to eat solids…

Did you get your scarf back yet? May we see it please? What do you think about it?
Chris
I just got it back today! I’ll have it on the blog hopefully this week but there’s a sneak peek on InstaStories today!
I can’t wait to see the results. You’ll share them here, right? (Please!) And that belt absolutely makes the dress outfit, IMO. So stinkin’ cute!
I just dyed a few dresses last night, which has nothing to do with your post or my reaction to it. You and your daughter show an exquisite bond in these photos. They are wall worthy my girl!
Allie, there’s a French woman who ties scarves in the most imaginative ways I’ve ever seen. If you look through the tutorials on her blog, you’ll see examples of how to tie the same scarf in different ways so that you can highlight the design aspects that you would prefer to accent — you can actually fold it in such a way that you can completely ignore the middle pattern if you wish it were a different design or color! Her Hermès collection is stunning, and her sense of color is remarkable. https://maitaicollection.com
You too look TOO cute together !
I had never heard of the Hermèsmatic, how amazing!
love your dress! You two look so cute!!!! Love the outfits and sounds like such a great experience at hermes
I love, love, love that dress, and the pictures of you and Emerson are adorable! Can’t wait to see how your scarf turns out.
Such a lovely dress and scarf. You and your daughter are gorgeous!
I’m interested to hear more about the dye process. Are they able to change only one color in the pattern, or does the entire scarf get dyed?
The whole scarf is dyed, this video from Hermes shows a before and after from a predominately white scarf. Curious to see how mine turns out since there’s no white, hoping it just tones down the vibrancy and makes the gold more orange/coral! http://usa.hermes.com/la-maison-des-carres/hermesmatic-nyc.html
