When I was a kid, I refused to do what my mom suggested, even if I knew she was right. And now as an adult, I still get great knowledge from my mom and often I still don't heed it. Like when she told me Chico's makes great jeans for petite and curvy women. I listened, I agreed the jeans looked good on her, but it wasn't until Chico's reached out and asked me to style a pair of their Girlfriend Jeans did I try them. And mom is right, these are great jeans!
I usually size up with white jeans as they can be too revealing. No need with the So Slimming Girlfriend Crop Jean from Chico's. I got the 2.5 Petite and think the 2 would have been a better fit in the torso/waist and with this thick quality denim, there's no worry about revealing too much.
The denim stretches, but springs back. The jeans slim and smooth at the waist but are super comfy, and they have a nice rise (just below my belly button) and shape that works with my curves (no gaping at the waist).
Trying these have made me want to try more Chico's Girlfriend jeans. Thank you Chico's for partnering with me on this post.

Reader Allyson asked about my shoe collection. She is trying to figure out what she needs versus what she wants. I am probably the worst person to ask about this for I have an affinity for shoes that match nothing in my wardrobe and will probably cause bunions and hammertoes before I am 40. I…

Im all for the jeans and statement earrings. We’ve got 10 days, 3 cities of meetings coming up and a basic “uniform” of dressed up jeans can go along way!-Laurel Bledsoe
Interesting! I have been hunting for jeans that don’t fall down throughout the day and will try chicos now! I have a pair of Chicos cropped twill pants I bought second hand and love the fit of! Love the way you dressed these up, too.
